Chuck Whelan knows Plainfield. He was a ten year resident, as well as maintaining his law office in the City for 25 years. Chuck served as counsel for the Plainfield Area Board of Realtors, as well as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central Jersey Chamber of Commerce.
For over 22 years, Chuck Whelan was the pro bono counsel for Greater Plainfield Habitat for Humanity, which built and sold 32 homes during that time to deserving local families. In addition to acting as real estate closing attorney, he also secured many subdivisions and variances to allow the homes to be constructed. He also provided general counsel to the Habitat Board.
He was also a Plainfield landlord for 15 years, managing a large rental real estate portfolio.
